The Arms

Patrick Buchanan
Nothing is known about Patrick other than that he was a Cadet of Leny. His arms
are of interest in that they show clearly his Leny connection differenced by the use
of a bordure counter company Argent and Gules. The motto reflecting that of Leny.
Leny - 'Audaces Juvo' ( I assist the bold )
Patrick - 'Juvabitur Audax '( delight in the bold )
The arms are recorded in Lyon Register Volume 1 - Page 255 - date uncertain but seems to be between 1676 - 1693.
